Hello! Thank you so much for reading this horoscope newsletter. I hope that you are happy and safe where you are.
Mercury is finally direct coming into the week and will make its way out of shadow on May 13th and will move into Taurus on May 15th. This is interesting because as Mercury moves forward and covers its retrograde path we will likely be finding things out and piecing things together about what all we just experienced in the last month, both personally and in the world, with Aries being ruled by Mars, the god of war.

Monday, Venus moves into the sign of Taurus. Venus feels very at home in Taurus and loves to be there~ it definitely gives getting fanned and eating grapes. Venus will come into a conjunction towards the end of this transit with Jupiter and Uranus both in the latter degrees of Taurus! Venus will conjunct Uranus for a surprising turn of events in our relationships on May 18th and will connect with the planet of growth and good fortune, Jupiter on May 23rd and they will both move into Gemini back to back on May 23rd (Venus) and 25th (Jupiter). Check the houses that you have Taurus and Gemini in to understand at a deeper level where your blessings are coming through personally.
Venus in Taurus will have us in a space where we’re a bit more relaxed and open to receive. Relationships will mostly do well, though they’re not without their plot twists and surprises during this transit, for sure.
Mars and Neptune will finally connect at the 29th degree of Pisces which is very intense. Mars is not very strong in Pisces and has been really stirring up the unconscious impulses and making apparent spiritual forces for all of us. Mars connecting with the very last degree of Neptune on Monday is definitely something to pay attention to as Neptune will move into Aries in March of 2025 and then will retrograde back into Pisces from October of next year until January of 2026. The reason I bring up Neptune’s back and forth in the coming two years is because you’ll really want to pay attention to what happens Monday as Mars connects with Neptune at this last degree to know what your themes are going to be. This can sometimes look like a flash of inspiration to do something that you know you need to do.
On Tuesday, Mars, the god of war but also the planet that connects to passion, sex and our will to take action moves into Aries until June 9th. Mars is the ruler of Aries, loves to be in Aries and I do feel that in spite of some of the weird energy that is moving through Aries right now (North Node, Chiron both bringing a different sense of fatedness and a lack of comfortability to being who we are or with what we’re identifying with) that we will see things move pretty quickly forward in our own lives, our will to act on our impulses will be very strong which will allow a lot of projects we’ve been sitting on to move forward. In the world I do believe this could look like various military alliances moving forward with their plans to create more war, unfortunately. May they folly.
Tuesday, the moon will move into Aquarius where it will connect with Pluto for a potentially intense emotional moment. The rest of this moon in Aquarius is very “birds-eye-view” after that moon-Pluto conjunction wanes by the evening.
On Wednesday, Venus in Taurus is making a square to Pluto in Aquarius which is quite a shake-up in our relationships and with our values as well. Venus is definitely at home in Taurus but she gets quite a wake-up call of what is in our out of alignment in our lives.
Thursday, Pluto stations retrograde and will journey towards its last two months in Capricorn from September 1st until November 19th when I anticipate we will see some very “interesting” geopolitical changes and major shifting on the world stage. Things feel almost eerie, grim or like they’re about to majorly change with Pluto stationing retrograde ~ you can usually feel it a few days before it stations both retrograde and direct.
Pluto in Aquarius retrograde (until October 11th) is all about examining our relationships ~ our relationships with the groups/identities/politics we align ourselves with, our relationship to money, technology and how we relate to the world at large. This brings up what we have experienced both when Pluto moved into Aquarius last year from March 23rd until June 11th of 2023 and then from February 20th until this moment of this year. What are you noticing during these times that has you feeling a bit existential or has darker tones to it?
The moon moves into Pisces on Thursday and will connect with Saturn and Neptune on Friday evening (EST) which will be very reflective, emotionally confusing perhaps or could indicate our subconscious emotions rising to the surface, showing up in our intrusive thoughts. This pairs nicely with the sextile from Mars in Aries to Pluto in Aquarius which definitely serves as a shake-up wake-up type of day.
Saturday, the moon will move into Aries and over Mars and eventually on Sunday, Chiron, the North Node and Venus all in Aries. The journey of the moon this week from Aquarius through Pisces and Aries (and into Taurus on Monday of next week as we gear up for a very exciting new moon in Taurus) is really showing us where we are at with the changes that we have seen in our lives since February and it’s like bringing up all of those themes rapid fire for us to figure out how to emotionally adjust and adapt to them.
Below you can see a detailed interpretation on how both Mars in Aries and Pluto retrograde will impact you.
