Hello! I hope that you are happy and safe where you are. Thank you for reading this horoscope newsletter <3
We are in that very auspicious and fated space between eclipses. Most everyone I know is undergoing almost surgical changes (that perhaps February prepared us for in some ways) and are on the precipice of some pretty massive changes in our lives and in the world, with the incoming Jupiter-Uranus conjunction (exact on April 20th) following the new moon solar eclipse in Aries on April 8th.
There are omens that feel kind of contrived to me surrounding this April 8th eclipse. What I find even more interesting is that suddenly, my YouTube algorithm keeps showing me about the red heifer sacrifice to herald the apocalypse. While there are some people who deeply believe in this, it’s time to divest from concepts we’ve taken for granted or overlooked, like time, dimension and adherence to the religious programming that saturates our atmosphere in the states. I do think it’d be wise to have freezers and gas tanks full coming into this eclipse, but I personally don’t anticipate anything happening *that day* in the world that might lead into SHTF scenarios. Surely this year there are going to be bigger scale events~ that is just the truth, but I don’t believe there is any point in getting all freaked about this eclipse. I will be spending time inside, though, to disclose how I will be personally navigating it… I know myself, I know I’m sensitive and just don’t wanna even watch it, for “some reason.”
I can’t help but add my two cents on the bridge collapse in Baltimore. I think of bridges as gates or portals to other realms and I do believe that there is a message being communicated through that event that is for the real ones. If this world has the reputation and energetics of an inverted mirror, why would we be shown this right now? I think that there are gates in frequency/state/dimension that are actually opening up in a lot of ways. Nothing is as it appears.
We are right in the middle of this eclipse season upon the start of the week with the moon moving into Capricorn. The moon in Capricorn is in detriment so it can bring with it sometimes a cold feeling and can be quite austere, but on the positive side, we have availability for what we need to get done and since Pluto is no longer in Capricorn (well, until September 1st) we can use all of the grounded and productive energy we can get.
Mercury also stations retrograde at the end of Aries on April 1st/Monday which is kind of funny, to me, because I do believe in the potential that in some ways we could feel a little bit “punked” by the universe. Mercury retrograde is very overplayed in my opinion, but it is a good time to wrap up things you’re already working on, rather than opening up something new. I really feel like this provides a balance to the full steam ahead energy with almost each planet direct. This gives us some space to reflect and things that may surface are details from the last solar eclipse in Aries last year on April 20th. Yes, you might hear from people from the past, there may be some technological malfunctions and if you have to sign something, look over it many, many times. Other than that Mercury in retrograde is a great time to practice the Neville “Revision” technique and to look into the past (on purpose).
Mercury will be in its retrograde station until April 25th in Aries and honestly… I still don’t think we really know what we are looking at in terms of some of the new circumstances that have cropped up in the last month. Mars is the despositor of Mercury (and the North Node, Chiron, the Sun, currently with Venus on her way) and has been in Pisces since March 22nd, so even though we’re in this forward-looking Aries energy, there’s still a lot of past, unconscious, blocked stuff to get through with Mars, Saturn, Venus and Neptune all in Pisces. Once Mars moves into Aries on April 30th I suspect we will have much more clarity about what we’re getting into. April is crazy and it seems best to just relax and enjoy the wild ride.
Wednesday, the moon will move into Aquarius and will connect with Pluto which is very intense. Every time the moon moves into Aquarius we get a snapshot of what this Pluto in Aquarius story is for us personally ~ what we are newly awakening to and confronting within ourselves as of January of this year.
Venus and Neptune are going to come together in Pisces which opens up a very deeply fertile ground for what could be good seeds to grow, but we do want to be super careful about the seeds that we plant in relationships with ourselves, with others, values, money and our relationship to receiving in general… this transit has spirituality, beauty and creativity written all over it, but not if we use this transit to fall asleep and to undo ourselves in falsities, escapism and illusions so I guess in the middle of the week, choose wisely.
Yet another very powerful conjunction happens on Thursday, April 4th, between the Sun and the North Node in Aries which is really an illumination of something that is fated or destined which fits right into the theme of the eclipse season. This whole week is certainly one to pay attention to as turns of fate and pivoting themes abound especially around our personal identity and what our instincts are prodding us to do.
Friday, Venus moves out of Pisces and out of that conjunction with Neptune (before Neptune stations retrograde this year, it is headed to 29* which is very intense) which could feel a little bit like a shock. Venus LOVES to be in Pisces and our relationships are infused with compassion and understanding, we can definitely put on the rose colored glasses through a transit like this, but with Saturn in Pisces, we couldn’t let ourselves get *too* far. Venus will move into Aries on Friday which is where she is in her detriment. Aries is Mars’ house ~ Venus feels like she has to pursue in Aries and becomes a bit less romantic and dreamy and a bit more… blunt and without a filter. Venus is moving right into all of this Sun, Chiron, Mercury and North Node stuff that we have been chewing on for a little while now, moving into a little bit of an awkward, choppy and confusing territory. I feel like I will wake up on Friday and *feel* this.
The moon moves into Pisces as well for a dark moon phase prior to the new moon solar eclipse in Aries. I’ve described on these newsletters many times that the dark moon is the phase that we want to closely watch ourselves. The new moon in theory takes us through a renewal of sorts that sets up the cycle and trending direction for the next two weeks and six months. The balsamic phase is where the shadowy traits of the sign prior to the new moon surface and Vedic astrologers term this time the “devil days.” As a natal moon in Pisces, there are a few shadowy traits I can tell you to be aware of… the first thing would be addiction, mental health and escapism. Saturn in Pisces is really putting our own subconscious issues and attachments in our face, in my opinion, since entering Pisces on March 7th of 2023 so in a sense, we haven’t had the luxury of avoiding ourselves in the same way because the salve is not working.
The solution to addiction or these feelings of wanting to escape, from my Piscean heart to yours, is truly connection with the Divine. It may even be helpful for us prior to the moon moving into Aries, continuing its balsamic phase, to lean into the traits of Virgo, coming back to our bodies, our routines and our rituals.
Saturday, Venus in Aries moves into a sextile with Pluto in Aquarius, very aware that she’s not in Pisces anymore. Keep the lines of communication with your intuition open as Venus is about to move into connection with the North Node, Chiron, Mercury and the Sun… this is a lot of information for her and this gives us a precognitive glance. The moon moves into Aries as well on Sunday and will move through all of this wild territory before being eclipsed by the Sun on April 8th.
Hope you have a wonderful week <3 M
