12.11 - 12.17
Hello! Thank you for reading this and for supporting my work. For those who have ordered 2024 readings, I am making my way through the list and I appreciate your patience :) This last week was finals week at massage school and it went really well ~ now that I’m on break I’ll be able to step with a bit more haste on your readings <3
Mercury is going to station retrograde in Capricorn this week! It will move back into Sagittarius on December 23rd and back into a square to Neptune. We actually have with Mercury in Capricorn even in its slow down phase a lot more clarity than we will at the end of the month ~ so maybe observe what you’re noticing and feeling this week and where your mind is tempted to go towards the end of the month.
Monday, Mercury in Capricorn is making a sextile to Venus in Scorpio which I think of as a positive boost of mood and of ease in conversation in two signs that can definitely air on the depressive or pessimistic. This is actually really great for focus and work.
The moon will move into Sagittarius preparing for the new moon on Tuesday ~ watch out for the need to be right or confusing sharing the truth with being cruel (two shadows of Sagittarius) as the moon will still be dark/balsamic prior to Tuesday and will square Saturn so there are a few bumps and bruises before we get to this actually quite positive and redemptive new moon on Tuesday.
Tuesday and Wednesday definitely serves as the energetic height to the week. The new moon in Sagittarius is a bit muted this year with Jupiter stationed retrograde in Taurus, but nonetheless, this will be felt as a positive promise and like movement towards some good things. For many, the last few months has been a very trying period ~ so even with the square to Neptune, this can look like a slight light after walking in the dark.
This new moon is going to cast a light on our future and show us where we are going, in trine to the North Node in Aries. We’re likely to be a bit sensitive coming up to the new moon because the dark moon in Sagittarius is going to be reaching out to Chiron in Aries.
Wednesday, the moon will move off this wonderful new moon energy and into Capricorn to join with Mercury. This is actually cool because Jupiter is in somewhat of a trine to Mercury as it slows down and stations direct. This is actually quite a good thing and I like to see the moon get involved in this which lifts the moon in Capricorn.
Mercury will station retrograde in the early morning on Wednesday, December 13th until January 1st, right after Jupiter in Taurus is going to station direct on December 31st. We’re going to really feel things turn on ad change towards the end of the year and beginning of next year. This is definitely like an end-of-year reflection and Capricorn is all about having your own personal systems in place, making sure you’re waking up with a purpose and still setting personal goals for yourself, taking responsibility for what you can take responsibility for. Pluto in Capricorn is really also emphasizing this as it sets up to move into Aquarius again on January 20th.
Friday is also a day that feels extremely supportive and cathartic. The Sun in Sagittarius will make a trine to the North Node in Aries which is going to be very enlightening as to what our next steps are. There’s some truth revealed with the combination of Mercury retrograde in Capricorn over some very prominent degrees we’ve encountered in the last few year and the Sun-North Node trine.
Also, Mars in Sagittarius is going to be trining Chiron in Aries… Chiron is not just the wounded healer ~ Chiron was an adept in the mysteries, could heal others with herbs and was taught about just about everything. We’re really looking at something to gain knowledge and making decisions and taking action hopefully not based on our wounds or buttons being pressed, but more what we feel a deep sense of conviction to learn about, heal and correct.
The moon moves into Aquarius too which gives us the ability to see all of this from a bit more neutral perspective, which on Saturday, for reasons I’m about to describe, we will need.
The Sun in Sagittarius on Saturday is going to make a square towards Neptune in Pisces. The Sun is a luminary that does have to do with vitality, as does Mars, and so with both of these energies eventually squaring Neptune, this can feel like our vitality is a bit weakened and we can feel tired. Our dreams are likely to be VERY vivid ~ but there’s a need to stay clear and out of the fog of confusion… as squares to Neptune remind us that sometimes there can be an issue in our perception.
Sunday, the moon moves into Pisces and right into a conjunction with Saturn which creates usually a sobering realization and gives us something to reflect upon. This amplifies Saturday’s tired, sleepy vibe. The whole weekend gives us the opportunity to address where we’re at spiritually.
